Sneak Peek - Tea O'clock (Tagoloan)

February 25, 2018 0 Comments

Are you craving for teas? Do you want to relax in a fantasy feeling place? Check out the newest open tea place in Tagoloan Misamis Oriental. A brand-new tea shop attracts customers with its quaint interiors, delicious milk teas and pastries. Tea O'clock just recently open in Tagoloan last January 28, 2018, but it has also a branch in Cagayan de Oro.

Does it remind you of something? Tea O'clock has a color that reminds us of Alice in a wonderland feels. This is why it becomes the hang-out spot of students from nearby schools and visitors from the surrounding residential areas. The tea shop has a shabby chic concept, with an extensive collection of teacups and teapots.

Tea O'clock has different kinds of milk tea flavors and pastries. The milk tea that we order are "Honeydew" and "Cookies and Cream". Medium-size drinks are P80, while the large one are P90; add a little for sinkers like pearls, nata de coco, coffee jelly, egg padding, rock salt + cheese and Ice cream. They also have ramen, pasta, meals, sandwiches, and cupcakes.

Here's the Menu:

You can choose whatever you want. It's a matter of your own choice. Hahaha!

A Korean-inspired café straight out of a unique food and this place is perfect for all Kpop and Kdrama fans! Experience Korean food and beverages at an affordable price located at Tiano Brothers Street beside PBCOM Bank Cagayan de Oro City, more specifically on the 2nd floor and it has a barber shop below.
You will also surely enjoy watching Kpop MVs while eating, and they also display albums & posters signed by your Favorite Kpop-Idols. You may also try wearing Han-bok and feel like you're part of historical Kdramas and post it on your Instagram and social media accounts as a memorable experience.
Check out their Menu: Below

We've ordered only Ramyeon and Kimbap on their menu. After that, we buy our drinks in Chingkee tea. We had a very delicious lunch. Not only that, customers also get to feel the vibe of being a Korean and at the same time, you can relax.

KIMBAP

There is a lot of contention about the origin of Kimbap. Many believe that kimbap is simply a Korean riff on sushi stemming from the Japanese occupation of Korea. Another take is that kimbap is an evolution of kimssam, a rice and seaweed wrap. The use of laver as a wrap probably transferred from either Korea or China to Japan, where it eventually evolved into sushi, and was then transferred back to Korea as that form. Kimbap is made with steamed white rice and dried seaweed, which is, of course, similar to the Japanese version. Often called Korean sushi, Kimbap is a Korean dish made up of seaweed, seasoned rice, and an assortment of other ingredients usually formed into a roll, then sliced and served. The ingredients included in the roll can be almost anything, but the most common are cucumber, fishcake, some type of meat or sausage, imitation crab, spinach, danmuji, and egg.

RAMYEON

Instant noodles in Korea is called “Ramyeon (라면)”, but if you google search it google will try to “correct” your spelling mistake into Ramen.
The difference?
Ramen is Japanese noodles, whether it is the instant kind or the non-instant kind! Ramyeon is Korean, and while originally it was first introduced in Korea with the technical assistant with a Japanese food company, Ramyeon is 100% Korean!
Ramyeon is Korea’s number one iconic instant food! Ramyeon or instant noodles is a very favorite past time for all Koreans whether young and old. These damn noodles are so delicious. Yes, they're hot, but tasty hot, addicting I'd say and it comes with different kinds of flavors. Check this out! Chicken Spicy Ramyeon.

INSERT CHINGKEE TEA

This teahouse, with its shabby-chic-girly-girl theme and reasonably priced tea drinks, is another favorite. I was thankful when they opened a branch in Xavier Square Uptown because parking is difficult in their Pabayo St. outlet. My partner and I favorites are Honeydew Milk tea and Cookies and Cream(P65-75) and the add-ons cost only (P10).
